The Opportunity
Catalyst is looking for a talented, inventive, passionate, and driven Project Manager with a proactive mindset to lead large-scale technology-based implementations. This role is ideal for a mid-level PM looking to grow into a senior delivery role.
Responsibilities:
- Create and share weekly status reports with client stakeholders, highlighting critical updates and escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary
- Schedule and facilitate all internal and client-facing project meetings with key stakeholders
- Manage project resources by ensuring availability, updating allocations weekly, escalating resource issues, and reviewing project timecards
- Maintain and update project schedules weekly to keep the team and stakeholders informed and aligned
- Manage project scope by engaging relevant stakeholders in discussions, assessing technical feasibility, and documenting changes through formal change requests
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks by maintaining a project dashboard and a RAID log for each assigned project
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and partner with technical teams to review key deliverables such as system designs, architecture documents, personas, epic-level requirements, testing plans, training guides, and requirements traceability matrices
- Maintain and oversee Jira boards: review ticket assignments, identify blockers or risks, and manage sprint cadence by starting/closing sprints as needed
- Schedule and lead Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups and other agile events; occasionally serve as Scrum Master on larger engagements
- Actively support system testing and QA by assisting with test plan creation, coordinating execution, and validating results
- Occasional travel to client sites (typically quarterly or less) for requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, or training sessions.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 3+ years of project management experience overseeing technical implementations
- 2+ years experience working in a technical consulting environment
- 2+ years familiarity with agile methodologies and agile project delivery
- Proven leadership with a proactive mindset and hands-on approach
- Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent communication skills, both client-facing and internal
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred
- Experience in the public sector is a plus
- Salesforce experience and/or certifications is a plus
- Experience using JIRA is a plus

- Salary range of $110,000-$130,000
