Product Designer
Quick Summary
data dashboards, analytics views, operational workflows, developer-facing tools, and configuration interfaces. The work is technically complex and data-heavy.
We're building the connectivity layer that freight has been missing — normalizing real-time telematics and execution data from hundreds of thousands of trucks and trailers into a single API. The product is technical, the data is dense, and the customers are sophisticated operators. Your job is to make all of it feel simple.
This is our first design hire. At 15 people, design isn't a downstream handoff. It's how we think through problems before we build them — and the person who joins now sets the standard for everything that follows.
Nice to Have
~1 min readCatena has raised $8.25M from Shaper Capital, Floating Point, Plug and Play, Liquid 2, and leading industry angels. Customers are already using us in production — many of them are also investors.
Design at Catena is foundational, not decorative. The person who joins now will set the visual and experiential standard for everything we build — the product, the brand, and how we show up in a market that hasn't historically cared much about either. That's a rare opportunity to do work that actually sticks.
Compensation: Competitive salary, meaningful equity, full benefits, 401k match.
Remote-first. Optional travel for team offsites and occasional on-sites.
