St Jude’s Early Learning Centre offers a quality preschool education, catering for children in the year prior to primary school. The curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which recognises the importance of communication and language (including literacy and numeracy), and social and emotional development. The Early Learning Centre Teacher delivers high‑quality, play‑based education programs that support children’s development and readiness for school. Working collaboratively with the Director and team, you will plan, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved qualifications
Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
