C-Care is currently looking for an Radiologist (In-House) to be based at C-Care Darne, in Mauritius.


The successful candidate will report to Head of Medical Services and Head of Biomedical Engineering and Radiology, the selected candidate will be responsible to perform CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone densitometry, X-rays and other special exams related to radiological procedures and report them accordingly.


What you will be doing:
  • Perform medical imaging tests like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other radiology procedures on your own when needed.
  • Review the patient’s history and medical file to choose the right scanning method to check for any disease or problem.
  • Look at previous scan reports and use that information when discussing the case with other doctors.
  • Know when extra images or different angles are needed to clearly show any issues (e.g., spotting a mass in the pancreas and taking more images).
  • Write a clear report of each scan you perform.
  • Take care of patients’ comfort and well-being during scans and decide if family can be present.
  • Help other doctors with special scan procedures.
  • Make sure all invasive procedures are done in a clean and sterile setting.
  • Check the scanning equipment every day to make sure it works properly.
  • Follow safety rules when using and disposing of radioactive materials.
  • Teach nurses and technicians how to use the equipment properly.
  • Communicate well with other departments and team members.
  • Take part in improving the quality of work in the department.
  • Understand the department’s goals and help with collecting data.
  • Follow all safety rules to protect patients and staff.
  • Do any other tasks given by the Head of Medical Services.

  • Qualified and Experienced Radiologist approved by the medical council of Mauritius or Equivalent body of their respective country
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management
  • Strong and persuasive negotiating skills
  • Ability to quickly learn & adapt to the medical field
  • Strong data analysis knowledge and ability to derive the right marketing strategies
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skill.
