C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily replenishment recommendations generated by the system and follow up on exceptions.
  • Perform monthly review of buffer levels, ADU, lead times, and variability settings.
  • Track manual overrides to system proposals and document reasons.
  • Identify items repeatedly in red zone and escalate corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly DDMRP governance review with key findings and recommended actions.
  • Ensure users follow approved replenishment process and escalation rules.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategic decoupling points in the supply chain using DDI methodology.
  • Review and validate all requests for new item codes before creation.
  • Create new items in the system with accurate fields (description, category, UOM, VAT, supplier, costing).
  • Prevent duplicate item creation prior to activation.
  • Maintain item naming conventions and coding standards.
  • Update supplier linkage, pack conversions, and replenishment parameters.
  • Coordinate inactivation of obsolete or non-moving items after approval.
  • Maintain logs of item creations, amendments, and deactivations; ensure master data files are updated.
  • Lead item rationalisation exercises to reduce SKU proliferation and merge near-duplicates.
  • Issue weekly dashboard (stock turns, fill rate, stockouts, expiry risks).
  • Analyse monthly slow-moving and dead stock with recommendations.
  • Track supplier performance (lead time, service level, delivery reliability).
  • Monitor purchase price changes and highlight variances.
  • Analyse consumption trends and identify abnormal usage.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis for management decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve automated reporting.
  • Maintain weekly watchlist of critical clinical items at risk.
  • Escalate items below minimum safe levels with action plans.
  • Track single-source items and propose mitigation actions.
  • Monitor expiry risks and coordinate usage or transfers.
  • Support contingency planning for disruptions or demand spikes.
  • Coordinate with clinical committees and pharmacy on formulary changes.
  • Manage product substitutions and therapeutic equivalents.
  • Support clinical standardisation to reduce unnecessary product variants.
  • Reconcile inventory reports with Finance.
  • Work with clinical users to standardise products and reduce SKUs.
  • Support Procurement with demand analysis.
  • Coordinate with IT/BI for system and dashboard improvements.
  • Provide user training on processes and reporting tools.

  • Closure of improvement actions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics/Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Data Analytics and inventory management
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Exposure to DDMRP or demand planning environments is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
  • Strong ability to analyse KPIs and produce performance reports
  • Good understanding of data structures and basic analytics, including SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience in data cleaning, validation, and accuracy control
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and meaningful reports
  • Strong learning agility with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
  • Effective organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
  • Adaptable and responsive in a dynamic environment
