Our EXPOS are responsible for ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen accurately, efficiently, and presented to standard while helping create a fun, fast, and friendly guest experience. As an Expo, you serve as the critical link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring smooth communication, food quality, and timely service. You are expected to balance attention to detail, organization, urgency, and teamwork throughout every shift.
- Serve as an ambassador of our mission, culture, and core values in every guest interaction
- Develop a strong knowledge of our food menu, ingredients, modifications, and presentation standards
- Act as the communication bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow
- Accurately organize, inspect, and stage all food before it leaves the kitchen to ensure quality, consistency, and completeness
- Verify that all dishes are prepared correctly, garnished properly, and meet company presentation standards
- Maintain awareness of ticket times and support the team in delivering food quickly and efficiently
- Communicate menu shortages, special requests, and guest modifications clearly between teams
- Deliver exceptional hospitality by supporting a seamless dining experience for every guest
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing responsibilities to ensure expo stations remain stocked, clean, and organized
- Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen menu knowledge, communication skills, and operational excellence
- Work collaboratively with all team members to create a positive, efficient, and team-oriented environment
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency while delivering accurate and detail-oriented execution
- Uphold presentation and cleanliness standards in all kitchen, service, and guest-facing areas at all times
- Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with food running, stocking, and other service needs as business demands require
