Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and support PPAP and customer part approval activities for assigned projects
- →Develop and maintain inspection plans, conduct MSA, and support gauge design
- →Support ISIR activities, including CMM scheduling and tolerance analysis
- →Collaborate with Project Engineers on:
- →Critical characteristic identification
- →Tolerancing and GD&T
- →Fixture, gauge, and inspection method development
- →Facilitate and apply quality tools such as:
- →PFMEA
- →SPC and capability studies
- →Root cause and Pareto analysis
- →Process mapping
- →Serve as a driver for process capability studies and improvement initiatives
- →Support manufacturing during new product launches and ongoing production
- →Track customer approvals, deviations, and quality status; communicate updates cross-functionally
- →Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement of Centro’s Quality System
- →Build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience (required)
- ASQ Quality Engineer certification encouraged
- Experience with ISO-based quality systems
- Ability to use measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
