Advanced Machine Operator (Machine Adjuster Level 1)

Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Advanced Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1) for our Chicopee, MA facility. This is a highly technical role requiring hands-on mechanical experience. Candidates should have experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments. Automotive technicians with engine and transmission repair experience are encouraged to apply. Schedule & Pay Hourly Pay: $22-24 depending on experience + 3rd shift premium 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (+$2/hr shift premium) Training may be on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Monday-Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed Opportunity for advancement to Machine Adjuster with increased earning potential. What You'll Do Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment. Learn machine timing, part installation/removal, and complete product changeovers. Troubleshoot equipment and support production quality and efficiency. Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on mechanical, industrial, automotive, or manufacturing experience preferred. Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Basic computer, math, and measurement skills, including reading a ruler accurately. Flexibility to work on various machine platforms as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs. Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment, noise, and manufacturing materials.
