Role Summary:
The Class 1 Driver (Truck driver) is responsible for operating a variety of transportation equipment to safely transport and deliver goods and materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. This position involves adhering to all safety, regulatory requirements while ensuring timely, accurate delivery. This role may require the use of automated routing or dispatching systems, and a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is mandatory.

Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you will:
- Deliver Local LTL within Vancouver (160km Radius around the city)
- Service from Hope to Whistler
- Offloading- pickup for customers as required
- Circle check of tractor trailer and pre/post-trip report
- Complete POD’s and driver run sheets
- Deliver loads to customers in a timely manner
- Operate a variety of equipment- Single Axle, Tandem Axle, 5-ton trucks
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Education & Experience:
- Class 1 Manual license only -- Automatic licensed drivers need not apply
- Minimum 2 years validated experience working in a class 1 environment
Skills & Attributes:
- Clean drivers abstract
- Criminal record check must be submitted if hired within 30 days of hired
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Adherent to company policies regarding health and safety, drug and alcohol
- Fluent verbally and possess good written English skills
