We are a Christian faith-based nonprofit organization seeking a full-time (possible part-time opportunity), on-site/hybrid Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and help steward donor and grant resources with excellence and integrity.
This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting leadership reporting, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the general ledger and record daily financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Track restricted and unrestricted funds
- Support grant compliance and reporting
- Process payroll and assist with Form 990 preparation
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Support annual audit processes
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (nonprofit preferred)
- Minimum associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business field
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Aplos, Sage Intacct, or similar)
- Familiarity with Blackbaud Financial Edge is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $40,000 – $50,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Benefits include:
