We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated Fleet Service Analyst to our team based out of our Brampton office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze daily records of truck and trailer repairs, maintenance, and service activities.
- Handle and respond to inbound calls regarding internal and external repairs and service.
- Review mechanics' expense reports and repair costs for accuracy and approval.
- Review open service work orders and ensure all costs are accurately recorded and accounted for.
- Monitor shop activities and maintain accurate, real-time service statuses.
- Track stockroom inventory, receipts, withdrawals, and stock levels.
- Manage and reconcile telematics inventory in the system and on the ground.
- Prepare customer invoices and process deductions accurately.
- Monitor out-of-service (OOS) truck and trailer reports and follow up on outstanding repairs.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing deliveries for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies and report issues.
- Track truck and trailer parts inventory and coordinate parts ordering as required.
- Review parts orders and schedule trucks for installation based on parts availability.
- Enter service orders and parts information accurately into the system, ensuring correct billing on each work order.
- Analyze service records, repair costs, and work order data to identify discrepancies and support operational reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Assist the parts department with routine inventory counts.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, and service providers.
Requirements
~1 min read- College diploma or university degree preferred.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a coordination or analytical role, preferably in service, maintenance, or repair operations.
- Previous experience in the heavy truck or automotive industry is an asset.
- Experience with parts ordering, inventory management, or service work orders is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
