The Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience through quality beverage service and professional leadership. This role prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, trains and supports bartenders, assists in the creation of beverage program menus and recipes, maintains inventory control and organization, maintains bar cleanliness standards, assists in inventory tracking and pricing, and ensures our compliance with all alcohol service regulations. What Success Looks Like:Your Impact  Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences while maintaining accuracy and presentation standards. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to bartenders and all FOH staff to ensure consistent service, product knowledge development, and adherence to property standards. Create cocktails and tech sheet recipe materials for happy hour, seasonal specials, daily specials, and special events. Assist in the creation of seasonal beverage program menus and offerings in collaboration with the F&B Manager and Director of F&B. Maintain an organized and fully stocked bar, ensuring appropriate inventory levels, product rotation, and cleanliness. Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory control of bar supplies, glassware, and liquor. Assist with monthly inventory counts and product pricing updates. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding alcohol service, safety, and sanitation. Engage guests in a professional, friendly, and outgoing manner, anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly; balance and close bar till at the end of shifts. Monitor bar area for safety, cleanliness, and efficient workflow; report maintenance or equipment issues promptly. Support the creation of a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and mentoring. Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals. Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations. Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.   What You Bring Minimum of four (4) years bartending experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.  In-depth knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and mixology techniques. Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to motivate and support team members. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Must be of the legal minimum required age (21) to serve alcoholic beverages. Must have the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) in English. Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required Current alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred. Must have open availability up to 40 hours per week including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays. Don’t meet every single requirement?
