As CI&T grows, we seek a talented, motivated, and experienced Data & Analytics Manager to join our team and lead data-driven solutions for our customers. This role is pivotal in balancing strategic management with hands-on execution, ensuring that our data initiatives are not only well-planned but also effectively implemented.
The Data & Analytics Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of data products, from ideation and development to deployment and optimization. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, critical analysis, and leadership skills to drive the successful execution of data-driven initiatives while also being actively involved in day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for the tracking strategy of one of the biggest e-commerces in Mexico, it will require your ability to translate behavior metrics into business insights and data visualizations that feed and drive marketing and product initiatives.
Requirements:
- Excellent level of English C1 or above and Spanish communication (reading, writing, and speaking is mandatory )
- Experience working with international clients
- Proficiency with PowerBI
- Practical Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Strong work in customer segmentation.
- Strong strategic thinking and product mindset
- Experience with value-based prioritization
- Proven team leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Reside in Mexico City
- On-Site 2-3x a week on our clients office in Polanco
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Provide data analysis that supports business and digital product growth through data visualization.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and analytics specialists, to develop and deliver high-quality data products. Attract, retain, and develop top data talents while mentoring and training to foster growth and motivation within the team.
- Task Prioritization: Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand their data needs and priorities, effectively communicating the value of data initiatives. Prioritize tasks and define the roadmap, balancing competing demands from different stakeholders.
- Data Profiling: Analyze data types, relationships, patterns, and trends to enhance data understanding.
- Requirements Definition: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to articulate clear, specific, and achievable data requirements, including how data should be presented for consumption.
- Business Process Understanding: Grasp business workflows to make informed assumptions regarding sources, entities, and attributes that answer business questions.
- Validation: Validate products with users to ensure they meet needs and expectations, leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze product performance using metrics and KPIs to assess success, tracking the effectiveness of data initiatives and investments, and using data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Data Architecture & Infrastructure: Understand the technical architecture/infrastructure that supports the organization's data needs, including storage, integrations, and analytics platforms for e-commerces.
- Powered by AI: Support the incorporation of AI in team workflows to enhance performance.
