Reliable no-touch freight and route familiarity make this an excellent opportunity for CDL-A truck drivers who prefer consistency over constant change. Memphis serves as one of the country's busiest freight hubs, allowing drivers to stay productive with established regional lanes, dependable dispatch planning, and a steady flow of freight throughout the year. This position is designed for drivers who want predictable miles, organized operations, and scheduled home time without chasing freight.
- Regional no-touch dry van freight
- Combination of drop-and-hook and live unload freight
- Average haul length of 700–750 miles
- Automatic Freightliner and Kenworth tractors
- Rider and pet program available for approved drivers
Drivers haul dry van freight throughout the Southeast and neighboring states using established regional routes. Freight moves consistently through dedicated shipping corridors, helping reduce downtime between loads. Most freight is no-touch, allowing drivers to stay focused on the road instead of handling cargo. Dispatch works to keep loads scheduled efficiently, creating dependable weekly mileage opportunities.
The fleet operates on a 12-day schedule followed by a full 48-hour reset every other weekend. Familiar regional lanes allow drivers to become comfortable with recurring routes, customer locations, and major freight corridors. This consistency helps create a smoother work routine while supporting reliable home time and balanced weekly schedules.
Drivers are assigned 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions. Trucks include APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts for added comfort during longer trips. Preventive maintenance is performed on a scheduled basis to keep equipment reliable and minimize unnecessary downtime.
