Drivers based near Laredo have access to one of the busiest freight markets in the country, making this CDL A truck driver position a strong opportunity for drivers who want dependable miles and organized scheduling. Built around a border freight network with consistent regional lanes, this fleet emphasizes steady freight movement, clean dispatch planning, and reliable home time. Instead of constantly adjusting to changing freight patterns, drivers operate within established lanes that support regular mileage and a more predictable work schedule.
Whether you are looking to build consistent weekly income or simply want a trucking job where dispatch keeps things organized, this position offers a stable operation designed around keeping drivers moving.
This fleet hauls no-touch dry van freight through established regional lanes that connect South Texas with major freight markets across Texas and neighboring states. Freight is supported by strong customer demand throughout the border region, helping maintain steady load availability year-round.
Most freight is no-touch and moves through a combination of drop-and-hook and scheduled live unload deliveries. Drivers spend more time driving and less time waiting at shipping facilities, helping improve productivity throughout the week.
Dispatch works to build efficient load plans that minimize unnecessary downtime while keeping drivers on consistent regional routes. Most loads are planned ahead whenever possible so drivers have better visibility into their upcoming schedule.
Drivers typically earn between $1,250 and $1,500 per week depending on mileage, experience, and freight volume. Reliable freight helps support consistent weekly earnings throughout the year.
Drivers may also receive qualifying detention pay when customer delays occur, along with performance incentives that recognize safe driving and dependable service.
This fleet operates on a structured 12-day running cycle followed by 48 hours at home every other weekend. The regional freight network helps support cleaner scheduling and more dependable home time by keeping freight organized and dispatch planning consistent.
Drivers who appreciate knowing when they are heading home often find this schedule easier to plan around than operations that rely on constantly changing freight assignments.
