Registered Behavior Technician

Working as part of a team, this person will Support Skill Development: Implement instructional and behavioral strategies to build daily living, vocational, communication, and social skills in individualized and group settings.
The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support adults with disabilities (ages 21 and up) who work, participate in recreational activities and social events, and/or reside within our programs.
The RBT will provide direct support to clients in vocational, residential, and community-based settings. Under the guidance of a BCBA, the RBT will implement individualized strategies that promote independence, social integration, skill development, and overall quality of life. This role requires flexibility, patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to empowering adults with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities

- →Reliability, professionalism, and openness to ongoing supervision and feedback.
- →Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to the RBT Code of Ethics.
- →Ability to support clients in diverse environments (residential, vocational, recreational, community).
- →Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
- →Supervision and Development: Participate in required BCBA supervision and professional development opportunities.
- →Dependability: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure reliable client support.
- →Documentation: Complete session notes, data collection, and progress reports accurately and promptly.
- →Collaboration: Partner effectively with team members to provide comprehensive, person-centered support.
