The Social Media Staff will support the camp’s communication and engagement efforts by creating and managing high-quality, professional content across all camp social media platforms that reflects camp’s mission, values, and Jewish identity. This role is vital in ensuring our online presence showcases camp life, traditions, special events, and core values that guide our community.
Responsibilities
~2 min read• Partner with the camp leadership team to develop and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar inclusive of camp life, Jewish / National holidays, special events, and seasonal programming.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content (photos, videos, short clips, graphics, etc.) for all camp social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Schedule and post content in alignment with the calendar, ensuring timeliness and consistency across platforms. Share at least one post per week, with more frequent posts around special events and the start of camp.
• Create social media content that promotes Broadway Live!, encourages ticket sales and sponsorships, and showcases our sponsors authentically and engagingly.
• Collaborate with leadership team members to access photography and recordings of special events during fall, winter, and spring seasons.
• Engage with camp families on social media platforms in a positive and professional manner.
• Ensure all posted content is appropriate and compliant with camper photo opt-out policies to the best of one’s ability.
• Seek approval from directors before posting content when required.
• Always conduct oneself in a professional manner and serve as a positive representative of camp online and offline.
• Uphold and model camp values, including family, love, kindness, respect, justice & charity, mercy & compassion.
• Communicates concerns, challenges, or needs promptly with direct supervisor.
