Responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and inventory accuracy to support efficient manufacturing operation.. This role leads warehouse personnel, manages inventory systems and reporting, coordinates physical inventories, creating and monitors KPIs, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory, timely shipments, continuous process improvement, and compliance with company safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • →Responsible for overall day to day management of warehouse, inventory control.
  • →Responsible for receiving materials, shipping finished good, maintaining accurate WH inventories, movement of materials to and from the Warehouse
  • →Assigns responsibilities to WH/inventory personnel and coordinates activities between them
  • →Through training and practice, obtains a working knowledge of how to use the Inventory Control system; then trains others on the use of the system.
  • →Reviews, drafts, and provides recommendations for new methods and procedures for inventory reporting to make the inventory system as accurate as possible.
  • →Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding Warehouse and Production procedures, to ensure that personnel are accurate and proficient in maintaining inventory records and in general operating practices.
  • →Audits all computer reporting for errors.
  • →Maintains accurate book inventories.
  • →Tracks usage of customer components in the warehouse, communicates any large discrepancies and works with warehouse team to resolve and reconcile.
  • →During reconciliation process, resolves inconsistencies and incorrect data inputs.
  • →Reviews and communicates inventory analysis internally and for customers with Director of Administration & Logistics and Director of Production Planning & Customer Service.
  • →Tracks in/outs of blended bulk, and communicates any large discrepancies and works with Compounding Manager to resolve and reconcile.
  • →Reviews and adjusts label inventory on a regular basis, communicates any discrepancies and works with Label Clerk to resolve and reconcile.
  • →Reviews non-conformance items on receivers and instruct warehouse on how to proceed.
  • →Checks and adjust non-conformance rejects in system as received from Quality Control.
  • →Adds or modifies ship to addresses in system for shipping orders.
  • →Prepares Month End Closing Reports: 
    • →Finished Good Value 
    • →Chemical Inventory
    • →Shipping History 
    • →Sales Report[MC1] 
  • →Communicate with IPRO Software Developers and helps resolve any inventory system errors.
  • →Assures shipping accuracy daily. Maintain FG inventory on the dock and ensure customers pick up their orders on time. Escalate as required.
  • →Schedules and monitors physical inventories requested by customers; gives instructions to all departments, reviews all results and reconciles all discrepancies before sending final report to customer.
  • →Issues and monitors destructions authorizations as requested by customer.
  • →Prepares monthly inventory reports to customers.
  • →Communicates with customers and resolves any discrepancies in a timely matter.
  • →Generate obsolete inventory reports and reviews with Manager of Production Planning & Purchasing. 
  • →Communicate SLOB inventory with customers and facilities disposition
  • →Prepares special end of job reconciliations as requested per customer.
  • →Runs histories of transactions for particular items internally and as requested by customers.
  • →Assist customers with production records, day lot codes, etc.
  • →Organize & maintain the site’s Price List
  • →Organize & maintain the sites P.O. Log
  • →Observe and have a working knowledge of the Computer Inventory Procedures.
  • →Works continually to upgrade the performance and professionalism of employees within WH & inventory control
  • →Assures all company rules, policies and procedures are followed completely at all times (including cardinal safety rules)
  • →Provides suggestions for improvement and increased profitability of the company
  • →Maintains applicable KPI’s. Generates reports, as required. Implements CI to assure KPI’s move in a positive direction.
  • →Manages, trains, directs and monitors all personnel under his/her responsibility on a day-to-day basis.
  • →Assures the accuracy of inventory and WH data
  • →Works with all departments to promote teamwork, efficiency, professionalism & safety
  • →Sets the example for teamwork, cooperation, safety, respect and work ethic for all employees.
  • →During absence, back-up is mgr. of Production Planning & purchasing. Backs up mgr. planning & purchasing during absence.
  • →Must wear PPE as directed.
  • →Other duties as assigned by site leader 
  • Enters or supervises entery and analyses inventory data into Tier II weekly scorecard:
  • Warehouse components 
  • Customer bulk 
  • Cohere’s bulk formulas 
  • Customer labels 
  • Cohere’s alcohol
  • Shipped units and dollar amount
  • FG on dock unit
  • SLOB Value and Quality 
  • Bachelor’s degree (any specific discipline??)or related experience  
  • Minimum 5 years of successful, relevant warehouse management experience. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Strong computer skills with experience using inventory management systems, databases, and ERP software (i-Pro/QuickBooks preferred). 
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Knowledge of inventory control, production planning, purchasing, and warehousing best practices. 
  • Experience with spreadsheets, reporting, and data analysis. 
  • Customer service and vendor relationship management experience. 
  • Experience using RF scanners (RF guns) preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
