Your Mission:

Join ClearEdge as a Database Engineer II where you will help transition from manual system security evaluations to an automated, streamlined process. You’ll leverage your expertise in database design and development to create robust solutions that enhance continuous monitoring, assessment, and data gathering throughout project lifecycles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows, database structures, and parsing software that meet the evolving needs of the organization while ensuring efficient data retrieval and management.

Technical and Detail-Oriented: Experienced in designing and developing database structures that align with overarching system architectures

Collaborative and Communicative: Comfortable working with teams to integrate database capabilities with various front-end applications and services

Proficient in Modern Technologies: Skilled in using contemporary frameworks and tools for database development and management

Develop and maintain database structures that fit seamlessly into the overall system architecture

Lead the creation of new workflows to replace existing manual processes, enhancing efficiency

Provide technical expertise for database design, implementation, and data analysis

Support the development and testing of Python-based ReST endpoints and microservices using Django and Flask frameworks

Interact with databases such as MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL to send data in JSON format to UI front ends

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer in similar programs and contracts

Proficiency in Python and experience with databases like MongoDB or MariaDB

Experience using Django or Flask for web application development

Understanding of ReST endpoints and microservice architecture

Familiarity with Swagger for API documentation
