Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce safety protocols in daily huddles.

Promote a zero-tolerance culture for unsafe behavior.

Monitor safety metrics including recordable incidents and close calls.

Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to warehouse safety standards.

Investigate incidents promptly and implement corrective action.

Ensure proper forklift certification and equipment safety inspections.

Supervise warehouse associates, supervisors, and drivers (as applicable).

Manage staffing levels to support seasonal demand.

Control overtime usage to meet annual targets.

Coach and develop supervisors and high-potential team members.

Maintain a disciplined but positive, team-oriented work environment.

Review daily inventory variance reports and resolve discrepancies immediately.

Maintain inventory variance ≤ 0.5%.

Conduct weekly cycle counts and ensure quarterly hard count compliance.

Separate and manage slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.

Ensure proper staging and loading to prevent vehicle damage.
-
Coordinate preventive fleet maintenance scheduling.

Monitor vehicle downtime and escalate issues proactively.

Conduct periodic ride-alongs to assess delivery professionalism and route efficiency.

Ensure forklifts and warehouse equipment are properly maintained.

Manage branch-level operating expenses within approved budgets.

Control overtime to meet company targets.

Ensure accurate daily reporting and documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
-
Experience in wholesale, logistics, or distribution preferred.
-
Proven experience managing teams in fast-paced warehouse environments.
-
Demonstrated ability to improve productivity and service metrics.

Strong financial awareness related to labor and operating costs.
