The Data Platform team at Cohere Health is building a scalable, intelligent data ecosystem to power analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across the company. We are seeking a Business Analyst II to serve as the bridge between client enablement and business needs and technical execution. You’ll work closely with clients, stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to gather requirements, write user stories, shape data solutions, and help drive the development of high-quality data products.
As a Business Analyst II, you are expected to work independently on moderately complex initiatives, provide clarity and structure to technical delivery, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our processes and workflows. This role combines attention to detail, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Partner with clients, the client delivery team, product development and stakeholders across the business to gather and document detailed business and data requirements
- →Translate business needs into clear user stories, and supporting epics, collaborating with the Sr. Product Manager and engineers to ensure accuracy and alignment
- →Perform data gap analyses and source-to-target mapping to support onboarding of new data sources
- →Validate data outputs and support QA processes using SQL and other tools to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- →Support data profiling and quality monitoring efforts, while maintaining awareness of data lineage and providing business context to ensure end-to-end data reliability.
- →Serve as the point of contact for requirement clarification during project delivery, ensuring alignment across teams
- →Take initiative to improve internal documentation, workflow, or backlog hygiene
- →Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and standups
- →Support internal change management activities and support cross-functional stakeholder communications and the rollout of new features or data products
- →Fair understanding of Information Security practices.
- →Align to the organization policies and procedures.
- →Ensure to get updated with ISMS roles as assigned by the department/process heads.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, public health, economics, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data engineering or analytics environment
- 2+ years of experience working with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EMR, HEOR, SDOH)
- Proficient in writing SQL queries to support data exploration and validation
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, including participation in or facilitation of sprint ceremonies
- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
