Senior Sourcing Analyst

The Source to Pay team helps Coinbase scale responsibly by building strong supplier partnerships, improving commercial outcomes, and reducing risk across the third-party services portfolio. As a Senior Sourcing Analyst, you’ll lead strategic sourcing initiatives across categories such as CX BPO, marketing, professional services, and corporate functions.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys turning ambiguous business needs into clear sourcing strategies, leading complex negotiations, and influencing decisions across Finance, Legal, Security, and business teams. Your work will directly shape how Coinbase manages third-party spend and will create measurable impact through savings, stronger terms, reduced risk, and better supplier performance.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end sourcing engagements, from intake and market strategy through RFx, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, rate structures, service levels, renewals, termination rights, and other key business terms.
• Partner with Legal, Security/TPRM, P2P, Finance, and business stakeholders to structure agreements that balance cost, quality, speed, and risk.
• Analyze spend, supplier concentration, demand patterns, proposals, benchmarks, and market dynamics to identify savings, consolidation, standardization, and supplier-performance opportunities.
• Build clear business cases and executive-ready recommendations that explain trade-offs, risks, and recommended actions.
• Manage multiple strategic workstreams in an async-first environment, surfacing risks early and driving timely decisions across stakeholders.
• Design and adopt responsible AI-enabled and automated workflows that reduce administrative work and create more capacity for strategy, negotiation, and stakeholder alignment.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commercial operations, finance, or a related function, including services categories such as BPO/CX, marketing, professional services, or corporate functions.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex sourcing projects and multi-stakeholder negotiations from intake through contract execution.
• Strong quantitative skills, with experience evaluating vendor proposals, pricing models, benchmarks, contract terms, and spend data.
• Experience partnering with Legal and risk teams on contracts, redlines, SOWs, order forms, security requirements, or third-party risk reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to translate detailed analysis into concise recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.
