Automated Affidavit Representative (Notary)

You can independently review, sign, and notarize standard affidavits, navigate our core systems, recognize common processing issues, and understand when an issue requires additional research or escalation.

During your second month, you will begin independently managing daily affidavit and notary operations.

You will:

• Manage affidavit queues, signing responsibilities, notarizations, and routine exceptions
• Consistently complete work within established accuracy and service level expectations
• Communicate directly with notary vendors to resolve routine operational issues
• Research and document affidavit and notarial requirements when questions arise
• Identify discrepancies between confirmed requirements and existing workflows or templates
• Help keep notary and compliance documentation current as requirements are confirmed or changed
• Identify recurring vendor, signing, or workflow issues and escalate patterns that need broader solutions

You independently own your standard affidavit signing and notarization responsibilities, can manage routine vendor issues, and can research and apply common affidavit and notarial requirements with minimal oversight.

During your third month, the focus expands from executing the process to helping make it stronger and more scalable.

You will:

• Independently handle more complex affidavit, signing, notarization, and vendor exceptions
• Proactively identify operational and compliance gaps
• Review workflows and templates against documented requirements
• Identify recurring manual work, failed transactions, errors, and vendor issues that could be addressed through process improvements or automation
• Help strengthen vendor processes and operational expectations
• Contribute to stronger documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
• Identify opportunities to make affidavit signing and notarization more efficient as volume grows
• Serve as a reliable internal resource for routine affidavit and notary questions

You operate independently as an Automated Affidavits Representative, Remote Online Notary, and authorized signer. You are also becoming a trusted resource for notary operations, vendor management, and affidavit compliance. You help ensure our workflows remain accurate and efficient while identifying ways to scale the operation as Column grows.

Affidavits are the final proof that a public notice was published correctly, and their execution can depend on specific signing, notarization, court, publication, and jurisdictional requirements.

As Column processes affidavit volume at scale, we need more than someone who can sign documents. We need someone who understands notarization, can work effectively with our external partners, recognizes when something does not look right, and can help build a process that continues to work as volume grows.
