Job Summary. What You'll Do:
As a Live-In Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Helping with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
Assisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping/errands, and light housekeeping.
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment
Providing companionship and emotional support
Accompanying clients to appointments or errands when appropriate
Monitoring changes in a client's condition and communicating with the care team
Follow individualized care plans to ensure each client's specific needs are met, and report changes in health status.

Requirements

No experience required
Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
Reliable transportation for client visits.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Willingness to live in the client's home during scheduled shifts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation to and from assignments
Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law.
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
