This is your opportunity to meet our Recruitment and Operations teams, interview on the spot, and complete several steps of the hiring process. It is your one-stop-shop to become a Commissionaire. 

If you're successful, you may even leave the event having completed your interview, fingerprinting, and uniform sizing, putting you one step closer to joining the Commissionaires Nova Scotia team.

Submitting an application through this posting is a mandatory step to attend the Hiring Event. 

Applying in advance allows our team to prepare for your arrival and helps us move you through the hiring process as efficiently as possible. Hiring online will ensure your quickest entry into the pool of being interviewed at the event.  

Walk-ins are welcome; however, all attendees must complete an online application before participating in interviews. Laptops will be available onsite for anyone who has not applied in advance. 

We're Hiring For 

We will be interviewing for a variety of current and upcoming opportunities, including: 

• Access Control Officer 
• Security Compliance Officer
• DND - Marlant 

Additional opportunities may also be available. 

What to Expect 

During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to: 

• Meet with our Recruitment Team. 

• Complete a prescreen. 

• Participate in an on-the-spot interview. 
• Complete fingerprinting (if applicable). 
• Meet with our Operations team to discuss potential work locations and next steps. 

Our goal is to make the hiring process as smooth, efficient, and exciting as possible by completing multiple hiring steps in a single day. With that in mind, please anticipate for the event to take 45+ minutes to complete every step. 

What to Bring 

Please bring: 

• Government-issued photo identification (Birth Certificate and/or Passport) 

• Driver's license (if applicable) 
• Copies of any relevant certifications or licenses 
• Permanent Resident Card (if applicable)
