Environmental Project Manager (USEPA Superfund Site)

Corinth, VT | 6–8 Week with the possibility for extension

Travelers are encouraged to apply! Eligible travelers will receive per diem.

Responsibilities

Manage USEPA Superfund project activities to ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate field investigations, environmental sampling, remediation, and contractor activities.
Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and HAZWOPER health and safety requirements.
Prepare and review project plans, technical reports, and regulatory documentation.
Communicate project status with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
Monitor project risks, quality, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Top Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience supporting or managing USEPA Superfund, environmental remediation, or hazardous waste projects.
Working knowledge of CERCLA, EPA regulations, and OSHA HAZWOPER requirements.
Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification

Physical Requirements

This is an active field position requiring daily oversight of construction activities.

Candidates must be able to:

Stand and walk for extended periods.
Climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
Enter confined spaces when necessary.
Work on uneven terrain and active construction sites.
Lift up to 30 pounds.
Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
