Head of Operations (Web3 DEX)

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Head of Operations to lead and scale the operational engine behind our decentralized exchange (DEX). This role will focus on user growth, product optimization, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure sustainable ecosystem development and competitive market positioning. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Growth & User Acquisition • Design and execute high-level user growth strategies across different market segments (retail, whales, market makers). • Identify and scale scalable acquisition channels: incentives, liquidity programs, referral systems, partner integrations. • Analyze on-chain/off-chain user behavior to segment and personalize growth efforts. • Build frameworks for user lifecycle management: activation → retention → engagement → monetization. • Product & Experience Optimization • Work closely with the product and dev teams to iterate product features based on user needs and market feedback. • Prioritize user experience improvements with clear OKRs and usage data. • Establish mechanisms to gather, structure, and interpret user feedback (power users, DAO communities, whales). • Drive continuous refinement of liquidity, UX, and trading flow efficiency. • Cross-functional Management • Coordinate between BD, Product, Marketing, and Community teams to ensure alignment on growth goals. • Lead internal weekly ops review and establish clear reporting structure for KPIs. • Data & Performance Management • Own growth dashboards (TVL, active traders, retention, volume per cohort, CAC, CLV). • Set up feedback loops using tools like Dune, Flipside, Google Analytics, Notion, and internal dashboards. • Translate insights into actionable business recommendations for leadership and product teams. Qualifications: • 3+ years in growth/ops leadership roles in Web3, fintech, or tech startups. • Proven success managing user acquisition and product iteration in DeFi or trading-related platforms. • Deep understanding of DEX design, tokenomics, liquidity dynamics, and user behavior in crypto. • Experience managing teams or cross-functional collaboration. • Strong analytical thinking, OKR mindset, and executional discipline. • Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.
