Mgr Food and Beverage Ops

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Manager of Food & Beverage Ops will manage all aspects of the organization's food and beverage operations and personnel.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Establish and maintain quality service standards for the department  

• Ensure accountability and proper training of all foodservice staff  

• Responsible for the relationship with F&B vendors and ordering product 

• Maintain consistent positive guest experience and expectations with exceptional internal and external customer service standards  

• Develop and implement innovative customer programs and services targeted to specific customer needs  

• Develop menus for various international clients to include Kosher, Halal, etc. 

• Daily supervision and scheduling of F&B personnel to include interviewing and staffing 

• Analyze and recommend improvements in policies, procedures, programs and services  

• Ensure compliance of Federal and local health and safety regulations  

• Manage all aspects of the planning and coordination of special events from a foodservice standpoint 

• Other duties as assigned  

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred  

• Must have five years of food service management experience, preferably in a cafeteria environment  

• Demonstrate an ability to create healthy, nutritious offerings to large groups 

• Must have knowledge of local health and safety regulations  

• Ability to service global client dietary requirements to include Halal, Kosher, etc. 

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite required  

• Deltek/Costpoint experience preferred  

• Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization  

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion  

• Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process 

• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment  

• Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 50 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools.
