Responsibilities

→Manage and maintain production and non-production databases.
→Design physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration.
→Perform backup and recovery on Database Management Systems.
→Configure database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models.
→Define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements.
→Optimize database access and allocate/re-allocate database resources for optimal configuration and performance.
→Support multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity.
→Ensure control, integrity, and accessibility of data across various platforms.
→Work on multiple projects as a project leader or advisor.
→Coach junior technical staff as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with various database management systems in design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration.
Experience working in a multiple platform environment with medium to high complexity databases.
Proven ability to manage and optimize database resources effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
