Maintenance Technician II (Tire Shop) - Fleet

Duties: Change and repair tires on City vehicles and equipment, responsible for all steps. Respond to emergency calls in the field. Inspect and diagnose problems/malfunctions on City vehicles and equipment. Plan work procedures for each project and determine parts needed for each project. Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements. Work the assigned schedule and comply with City timekeeping and attendance policy.

Qualifications: 1-2 years of related experience and/or training. Valid Texas Driver's License and a good driving record. Position may require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time.
