Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Center Risk and Assurance, this position leads complex, large-scale projects including the implementation of Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS) and other cross-functional physical security initiatives. You will work and influence across teams to ensure that cutting-edge security technologies and operational enhancements are integrated into CoreWeave’s Data Center Security program, aligning with security standards, customer requirements and organizational objectives.
This Sr. Project Manager will execute project lifecycle activities for new security systems and operational deployments, partnering closely with Security Design and Commissioning, Networking, Security Engineering, Global Security Operations Center, Security Operations, DC Operations, and external vendors. The role requires a strategic, technical physical security professional with an understanding of security systems architecture, security operations, project management methodologies, and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-growing, high-performance environment.
About the Role
~1 min read- Project Management for Physical Security Initiatives: Lead the end-to-end deployment of new physical security systems and innovations, including Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS), across multiple data centers.
- Cross-functional Implementation Oversight: Execute project lifecycle activities for large-scale physical security design and operational enhancements, partnering closely with Security Design and Commissioning, Networking, Security Engineering, GSOC, Security Operations and other teams as applicable.
- Project Planning & Execution: Build and maintain detailed project plans, scope, budgets, milestones, and metrics to ensure proactive reporting to leadership and predictable delivery of physical security initiative projects.
- Deployment Standards and Compliance: Ensure all new technology deployments align with security standards, internal privacy, legal and security reviews, and meet customer requirements.
- Documentation and Standardization: Develop and maintain standardized project management documentation, templates, and RACI matrices to ensure repeatable and scalable project management practices.
- 5+ years of progressive project or technical program management experience focused on physical security deployments within data center or critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong technical understanding of physical security controls, systems architecture (Access Control Systems, Video Management Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems), and related compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Proven proficiency in applying project management methodologies to lead and execute complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end.
- Expertise in developing detailed project plans, scope, budgets, milestones, and metrics, including proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and drive alignment and predictable delivery among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) or Physical Security certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP) preferred.

The base salary range for this role is $143,000 to $191,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
