Cost Estimator - Station Site Lighting Design

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Estimator with experience in Station Site Lighting Design to join our team. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and requirements, with a specific focus on station site lighting design, to determine the estimated costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams in the context of station site lighting projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8 years proven experience as a Cost Estimator with a background in Station Site Lighting Design.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to station site lighting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements and specifications, with a specific emphasis on station site lighting design, to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information for station site lighting projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids for station site lighting components to determine the best options for cost efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in station site lighting design without sacrificing quality.
• Present cost estimates for station site lighting projects to management and clients in a clear and professional manner.
• Update and maintain a cost database for station site lighting projects for future reference.
• Monitor actual project costs related to station site lighting compared to estimates and provide analysis on any variations.

Salary Range: $102,794- $127,192 YR
