UX Designer

What We Need   Corpay is looking for a UX Designer to join our Corporate Payments division. In this role, the UX Designer will shape the next generation of digital experiences for our Payables business. You’ll work across a diverse product ecosystem that includes complex web applications, operational and administrative tools, and intuitive end-user experiences. One day, you may be simplifying a high-volume workflow for finance teams; the next, you may be designing tools for administrators or creating a seamless experience for an individual user completing a payment-related task.   This is a hands-on role for a designer who enjoys turning complexity into clarity—and who thrives when ideas move quickly from sketch to prototype to shipped experience. You’ll work in tight feedback loops with Product, Research, Engineering, and fellow designers to frame problems, explore possibilities, test assumptions, and continuously improve what we put in front of customers.   We care deeply about craft, but we don’t confuse perfection with progress. The strongest candidate will know how to choose the right level of fidelity, move decisively with incomplete information, and maintain a high bar for quality while keeping momentum. We’re also looking for a designer who sees AI as an advantage. Not as a replacement for judgment, empathy, or creativity—and not as a shortcut—but as a powerful way to expand exploration, automate repetitive work, accelerate prototyping, challenge assumptions, and produce better work faster. You will collaborate closely with Product, Research, Design, and Engineering partners and report directly into the VP of Product.   How We Work As a UX Designer you will be expected to work in a virtual environment.   Corpay will set you up for success by providing:   Company-issued equipment Formal, hands-on training   Role Responsibilities   The responsibilities of this role will include:   Designing end-to-end interfaces, interactions, and workflows across Corpay’s Payables product ecosystem. Creating experiences for sophisticated web applications, internal and customer-facing administrative tools, and end-user consumer applications. Simplifying complex financial and operational workflows without losing the depth, control, or flexibility users need. Translating user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into experiences that are clear, useful, and ready to move forward. Producing low-fidelity concepts early and often to help Product teams explore opportunities, clarify scope, and make faster decisions. Creating prototypes at the appropriate level of fidelity for stakeholder alignment, usability research, and development handoff. Partnering with UX Researchers to understand user behaviors, identify unmet needs, test concepts, and turn findings into meaningful product improvements. Working directly with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the development process—not simply at the beginning and end. Using AI-enabled tools thoughtfully and responsibly to accelerate activities such as ideation, workflow exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, content development, and documentation. Protecting customer and company information by using AI tools in accordance with Corpay’s privacy, security, and data-handling standards. Maintaining a prioritized backlog of incremental design improvements and helping the team continuously raise the quality of the Payables experience. Contributing to and evolving Corpay’s UX Design System, including patterns, components, documentation, and standards. Collaborating with developers to keep coded component libraries aligned with the Design System. Designing responsive experiences that work effectively across devices and adapting to the needs of different user types. Balancing speed with usability, accessibility, consistency, and attention to detail. Communicating design rationale clearly, inviting critique, and adapting quickly when new evidence points toward a better solution. Taking on additional high-impact design challenges as the product and business evolve.   Qualifications & Skills   At least 4+ years of professional experience in UX, product, or interaction design. A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, clear problem-solving, thoughtful iteration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience designing complex web applications, administrative platforms, workflow tools, or consumer-facing digital products. Experience working with agile product and development teams. The ability to move comfortably between rough concepts, detailed interface design, interactive prototypes, and implementation support. Strong proficiency with Figma or comparable modern design and prototyping tools. Curiosity about AI and hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools to improve the quality or speed of your design process. Strong product judgment and the ability to determine when a design needs deeper exploration—and when it is ready to move forward. Comfort working through ambiguity, creating clarity, and making progress without waiting for perfect requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in a remote environment. Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail. The ability to work independently while actively seeking input, sharing work early, and contributing to a highly collaborative team. A genuine commitment to understanding users and advocating for their needs.   Helpful, but Not Required A degree or certification in Human-Computer Interaction, interaction design, UX design, or a related field. Experience designing financial products, payment platforms, accounts payable software, enterprise tools, or other transaction-based products. Experience designing for multiple audiences, such as finance professionals, administrators, operations teams, and individual end users. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
