Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician for third (3rd) shift during production season to support our Grand Rapids, Ohio site. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation is not available. What You’ll Do: * Support day‑to‑day plant operations and capital projects * Perform preventative, predictive, and seasonal maintenance activities * Maintain plant shop, tools, equipment, and facilities * Ensure proper setup, calibration, operation, and upkeep of machines * Support Process Safety Management and site safety initiatives * Complete fabrication and improvement projects * Perform grounds and facility maintenance as needed * Maintain accurate equipment records, prints, and PM plans * Troubleshoot basic electrical systems (24VDC–480VAC) What You Bring: * High school diploma/GED * Comfortable working at heights above 25 feet with required fall‑protection equipment * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Willing to work in warehouse/plant environments and perform hands‑on work * Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation * Willing and able to work overtime and shift schedules, including weekends * Valid driver's license What Makes You Stand Out: * Knowledge of production agriculture equipment and machinery * Basic understanding of building electrical systems and process control * Welding and/or millwright skills (seed industry a plus) * Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems * 2+ years of industrial electromechanical education and/or hands‑on experience * Experience using a CMMS (e.g., SAP) for work orders and parts inventory Benefits – How We’ll Support You: * Numerous development opportunities offered to build your skills * Be part of a company with a higher purpose and contribute to making the world a better place * Health benefits for you and your family on your first day of employment * Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays * Excellent parental leave which includes a minimum of 16 weeks for mother and father * Future planning with our competitive retirement savings plan and tuition reimbursement program * Learn more about our total rewards package here - Corteva Benefits * Check out life at Corteva! www.linkedin.com/company/corteva/life Are you a good match?
