Process Mining / BI Analyst Location: Sandton, Johannesburg Contract: Contract Industry: Financial Services We are looking for an experienced BI/Data Analyst with strong Business/Process Analysis capabilities to join a project focused on analysing and optimising end-to-end business processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, process intelligence and business improvement, and can turn complex transactional data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations. What you’ll be doing Analyse transactional and operational data to reconstruct and understand end-to-end business processes Use data and BI tools to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, deviations and process improvement opportunities Develop meaningful reports, dashboards and data visualisations Work with business stakeholders to understand processes and translate data findings into actionable recommendations Support process mapping, process analysis and optimisation Investigate process performance using data-driven techniques Communicate insights and findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders Requirements The profile we're looking for This is not primarily a traditional Business Analyst role. We are specifically looking for someone whose background is approximately: 60–70% BI / Data Analytics 30–40% Business / Process Analysis You should be comfortable working hands-on with data and BI tools, while also being able to understand, map and optimise business processes. If you have a BI/Data Analytics background and have moved into Process Mining or Process Intelligence, we would be very interested in hearing from you. What we’re looking for The ideal candidate will have a strong BI/Data Analytics background, complemented by Business or Process Analysis experience. Key requirements: Strong experience in BI / Data Analysis Advanced SQL skills Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools Experience in data analysis and visualisation Experience with business process mapping and optimisation Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into meaningful business insights Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Process Mining Experience – Highly Advantageous Hands-on experience with Process Mining will be highly advantageous, particularly experience with: Celonis SAP Signavio Microsoft Process Mining UiPath Process Mining Or similar Process Mining technologies Celonis experience will be particularly valuable.
