Chemical Service Technician Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Position Summary: An experienced Chemical Service Technician is sought to deliver outstanding service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical applications and at least five years of hands-on experience in a service or maintenance role. Responsibilities: Conduct routine service, maintenance, and repair of chemical processing equipment at client sites. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols while performing on-site duties. Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of their equipment. Coordinate with the sales and engineering teams to understand equipment specifications and customer requirements. Keep detailed records of service visits, including issues encountered and actions taken. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in chemical processing technology and service techniques. Qualifications: Technical diploma or degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of five years of experience as a Chemical Service Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of chemical processing systems and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Effective communication skills, with proficiency in explaining technical concepts to non-technical clients. A commitment to providing high-quality customer service. Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours when required.
