Draughtsman Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Position Summary: We invite an experienced Draughtsman to join our team, bringing over five years of experience in technical drawing and drafting. The candidate will support our projects by creating detailed schematics that facilitate the efficient execution of complex projects. Responsibilities: Develop detailed technical drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and provide accurate visual representations. Revise and refine drawings as needed, ensuring all documents are kept up-to-date and meet quality control guidelines. Maintain an organized record of all drawings and related technical documentation for ongoing and completed projects. Assist in optimizing drafting procedures and contribute to the implementation of new design technologies to enhance the workflow. Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent certification in technical drafting or a related discipline. At least five years of experience in a drafting role, with a solid grasp of drafting techniques and familiarity with relevant software. Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) tools and the ability to produce clear and precise drawings. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the drafting process. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively with various departments. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
