This role is responsible for developing and enhancing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) frontend experiences, including reusable components, responsive pages, author-friendly templates, and accessible digital interfaces. The position requires hands-on experience with HTL, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, AEM Core Components, client libraries, and AEM authoring capabilities. The ideal candidate should be able to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality frontend implementations, troubleshoot technical issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver maintainable, performance-focused solutions.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop responsive AEM Sites pages and reusable components using HTL, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript
- →Translate UI/UX designs into clean, accessible, cross-browser-compatible, and performance-optimized frontend experiences
- →Customize and extend AEM Core Components through proxy components, HTL overrides, dialogs, and custom styling
- →Create and configure dialogs, editable templates, policies, and style systems to support a smooth authoring experience
- →Develop and manage frontend themes and client libraries for efficient CSS and JavaScript delivery
- →Work with Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and AEM Assets (DAM) to support reusable and structured content delivery
- →Support AEM content-authoring and publishing workflows, ensuring that components and templates are easy for authors to use
- →Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, and project stakeholders to deliver user-friendly and technically sound solutions
- →Participate in requirement analysis, estimation, project planning, status updates, and technical discussions
- →Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables
- →Optimize AEM sites for performance, usability, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability
Requirements
~1 min read- Hands-on experience with frontend development using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM Sites, reusable components, editable templates, dialogs, policies, and authoring features
- Experience developing responsive web pages and frontend components using HTL, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and ES6+ concepts
- Experience with AEM Core Components, proxy components, HTL overrides, frontend themes, and client libraries
- Proficient in translating UI/UX designs into clean, accessible, cross-browser-compatible, and performance-optimized frontend experiences
- Proficient with frontend build workflows and tools such as npm, Webpack, browser developer tools, and Git
- Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing frontend code for responsiveness, usability, accessibility, and maintainability
- Knowledge of AEM architecture, including Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and JCR content structure
- Understanding of Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, AEM Assets (DAM), renditions, and metadata
- Understanding of Agile development practices, coding standards, and frontend best practices
- Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to manage assigned work and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot technical challenges during development and implementation
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in frontend development work
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
- Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and works effectively with peers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant frontend development experience, preferably with exposure to AEM-based digital experience platforms
