Maintenance Technician

Our company is a leading facilities management company, that invests in the communities that we live and work in. With a team of more than 45 skilled management professionals we care for all aspects of nearly 300 commercial properties throughout Indiana and Michigan.

We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician to work Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities include the following:

• →Ensure that each assigned property is maintained according to company standards
• →Conduct routine checks and service equipment to prevent failures
• →Some heavy lifting of furniture and equipment
• →Troubleshoot problems and make repairs
• →Provide excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• →Perform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

This position requires the following skills and qualifications:

• Technical school preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field
• A general mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and building trades
• Proficient in reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skills
• Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (both required)
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
