As part of the Business Intelligence team, this individual will play a crucial role in gathering requirements, developing/maintaining data sets, creating new reports, and enhancing current reports. This position also involved the development and enhancement of in-house applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Data Integration and Modeling: Work closely with internal teams to design and implement data pipelines, ensuring the efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data into the data warehouse/lakehouse. Apply knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling to support this process.
  • Reporting Solutions and Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into well-defined documentation and effective reporting solutions. Develop and optimize reports and dashboards that deliver accurate, relevant, and actionable insights aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize report, dashboard, and query performance to ensure fast, reliable access to analytics.
  • Data Analysis and Process Improvement: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. Use your problem-solving orientation to address data-related challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Support efforts to enhance data quality and uphold data governance processes. Work closely with teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, contributing to a robust and reliable data infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Support and Enablement: Provide training, guidance, and support to business users on BI tools, dashboards, and data best practices to enhance data literacy across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python
  • Proficiency in reporting applications Power Bl and Tableau
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms or services (e.g., Azure or AWS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Interdisciplinary insight to collaborate effectively with teams from various departments.
  • Results-oriented mindset, committed to delivering high-quality outputs. 

  • Will work in an office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental hazards. May involve prolonged periods of sitting and frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Use of company vehicle, on occasion. A successful Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is required.
