  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, endpoint protection, and network security principles
  • Experience supporting security operations in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of Windows server environments, enterprise applications, and database systems
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, audit support, and security documentation practices
  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent certification required; advanced security certifications preferred
  • Maintain a secure and stable IT and operational technology environment that supports uninterrupted production operations
  • Proactively monitor and respond to potential security threats in a timely, risk-informed manner
  • Apply risk-based decision-making when evaluating security controls and incident response actions
  • Balance cybersecurity controls with operational continuity to avoid disruption to plant systems
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation to support compliance and insurance requirements
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned systems, ensuring configurations, updates, and monitoring remain current and effective
  • Communicate clearly with IT, engineering, and plant teams regarding risks and mitigation plans
  • Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery, and ransomware preparedness planning
  • Serve as a dependable backup resource for core infrastructure and system administration functions
  • Security Administration & Operations:
  • Administer and monitor endpoint protection, mobile device management, and threat detection platforms
  • Manage identity and access management systems, including role-based access, privileged access controls, and multi-factor authentication
  • Monitor firewall, VPN, and network security systems across enterprise and plant environments
  • Maintain logging, alerting, and security monitoring tools for full system visibility
  • Support incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, remediation, and documentation
  • Maintain secure configurations across collaboration platforms, cloud services, and email systems
  • Review vendor and third-party security requirements and assist with risk assessments
  • Maintain documentation to support audits, regulatory compliance, and risk management initiatives
  • Serve as the security representative in IT and manufacturing-related technical projects
  •
  • Manufacturing & Operational Technology Security:
  • Partner with engineering and plant operations teams to secure production environments
  • Support industrial control system security and plant network segmentation initiatives
  • Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts
  •

  • Provide backup support for servers, databases, enterprise applications, and user systems
  • Assist with system patching, updates, backups, and performance monitoring
  • Support user account management, hardware deployment, and helpdesk escalations
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and system improvement initiatives
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations and support procedures
