Responsibilities

  • Assess existing DoD cloud and traditional hosting environments to develop integrated, optimized architectures that enhance performance, interoperability, security, and cost-efficiency
  • Design, develop, and implement cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for automation and orchestration to support application migration and ongoing operations
  • Participate in all phases of the system development lifecycle, including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • Cloud and hybrid-cloud solution design
  • Network architecture design and documentation
  • Implementation planning and risk analysis
  • Develop clear, comprehensive technical and functional documentation to support system design and operations
  • Configure and implement networking services within cloud environments
  • Integrate enterprise networking technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and F5 solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and communicate complex concepts effectively to executive and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • Clearance
    • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (preferred)
  • Required Experience and Skills:
    • Proven experience in systems analysis and solution design within DoD environments
    • Demonstrated success with cloud deployments in AWS and/or Azure
    • Hands-on experience implementing and configuring cloud-based networking services
    • Expertise in designing and maintaining Virtual Networks, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and hybrid cloud environments
    • Experience integrating enterprise networking devices and infrastructure
  • Additional Requirements
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
    • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions
Position Pay Range
$145,000$155,000 USD
