As a Marketing Science Lead, your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you demonstrate the value of marketing science to internal and external stakeholders. You bring in 5 to 8 years of experience, leading others in delivering Marketing Science projects across a broad range of initiatives, with a demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: tracking and measurement, implementation, reporting, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, or statistical modeling. You have experience optimizing Digital marketing efforts by systematically using data-driven insights, enjoy collaborating with others, and excel at leading and training juniors to translate findings into clear, actionable, and executable insights.
Gaining leadership experience through supervising and developing a passionate team of analysts (including managing their work priorities, timelines, deliverables, and training) is something you’re looking for. And you’ll expose your analyst to all Marketing Science sub-disciplines to help develop their expertise.
You will:
- Analytics Implementation:
o Define, implement, and validate tracking and data gathering strategies.
o Ability to write custom scripting, JavaScript, jQuery or other coding languages in web environments and tag management tools to accommodate custom tracking requirements
- Provide consultative service, training, and validation support to quality assurance/testing teams.
- Ensure that the analyses, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables created by the team fulfill client needs.
- Shape analytics content and provide point of view on methodology and technology.
- Lead the ideation, development and execution of measurement strategies and frameworks.
- Assist in mapping and implementing data flows and ensure compliance with data governance protocols.
- Manage, develop, and motivate analysts: participate in resourcing, hiring, and training planning.
- Manage daily operations, prioritization activities, resourcing, and overall analytics delivery of CM's analytics stack (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target)
- Implementation knowledge on media tags (DoubleClick, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Lead the ideation, development and execution of measurement strategies and frameworks.
- Keep abreast of product updates (Adobe Tag Management System), best practices and proactively follow up with required changes in our implementation and appropriate communications.
You have:
- Website/Mobile Tagging:
o Experience with both Google and Adobe Analytics, and with tag management platforms (e.g.: GTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, etc.).
o 5+ years' experience in data layer design, develop SDR and ensure KPIs’ are translated to tagging requirements.
o Experience with tag management tools (Adobe Launch, Tealium, Ensighten) and their initial setup and configuration
o Experience in implementing/troubleshooting/deploying the Adobe stack, Google 360 and/or 3rd party marketing tags using Adobe Launch
o Expert-level knowledge in developing Adobe Analytics Solution Design Reference (SDR)
o Understanding of Adobe Analytics processing rules, SAINT classifications, report suite configuration, and data feeds
o Experience in web development or working with a team of web developers or analysts
- Develop and own all implementation documents such as SDR, Data Layer specifications, custom JavaScript
- Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of documentation and technical coding (HTML, JavaScript, Action Script) various Tag Management System
- Collaborate with technology teams on implementation of analytics solutions, including guidance on data layer implementation and troubleshooting, data feeds and integrations with other systems
- Keep abreast of product updates (Adobe, Ensighten), best practices and proactively follow up with required changes in our implementation and appropriate communications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills, considerable experience presenting directly to clients.
- Extensive experience in data science and advanced analytics applied to solving business problems.
- Experience with two or more visualization platforms: Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, etc., and knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of the market leaders.
- Experience providing task direction and/or mentoring junior analysts.
Qualifications:
- Confident to design a data layer (Traditional/EDDL/ACDL)
- Adobe Analytics experience – 5 years (Hands on working within the tool) Preferred OR Google Analytics 5yrs (Alternate experience)
- JavaScript experience – 5 years
- Custom tag implementation experience - 3 year
