From our office at IDB Lisbon we deliver application development, architecture, and IT operations for major European organisations, working as an integrated nearshore extension of our clients' teams.

Responsibilities

  • →Develop and maintain Salesforce Service Cloud solutions supporting customer service operations.
  • →Configure and customize Salesforce using Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, validation rules, and platform setup.
  • →Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
  • →Work within an enterprise-scale Salesforce Platform and Service Cloud data model.
  • →Write and maintain unit and integration tests as part of the development lifecycle.
  • →Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems through APIs.
  • →Collaborate with Azure-based middleware when required by integration architectures.
  • →Ensure integrations are robust, observable, and fail predictably.
  • →Work with Git version control and established CI/CD pipelines.
  • →Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including refinement sessions, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • →Collaborate closely with architects, QA teams, and fellow developers.
  • →Support deployments, troubleshooting activities, and continuous platform improvements.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura.
  • Solid Salesforce configuration experience, including Flows, validation rules, and platform administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Platform.
  • Experience developing and maintaining API-based integrations.
  • Strong SOQL skills, including querying and optimizing enterprise-scale data volumes.
  • Good understanding of the Salesforce security and data model.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ways of working.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II certification.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with Azure middleware.
  • Contact center integration experience.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled customer service solutions.
  • Knowledge of customer service operations and processes.
  • Experience in multi-country or multi-market Salesforce implementations.
  • Background in customer service, contact center, or after-sales operations.
  • Experience within automotive, manufacturing, or large-scale B2C service environments.
  • German or other European languages.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proactive professional who takes ownership and seeks information independently.
  • Confident in challenging stakeholders constructively and respectfully.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively within Agile teams.
  • Structured, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Curious and eager to learn new Salesforce features, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Location: Cronos Europa Portugal, in Lisbon.
  • Engagement: Full-time.
  • Office Presence: Minimum 3 days per week onsite in Lisbon.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to the client's locations.
