About the Role
~1 min readThe Material Planner, Electrical is responsible for determining whether the production schedule is materially feasible for electrical components, including switchgear, PDC components, and specialized cable/wire. Working directly from the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and released Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), you will run MRP, maintain Clear-to-Build (CTB) status, manage shortages proactively, and own the day-to-day supplier forecast and commitment cadence. Given the long lead times and concentrated supply base in this commodity, lead-time discipline and early shortage anticipation are critical to protecting manufacturing timelines.
This role serves as the vital operational bridge between production planning, physical inventory, and strategic sourcing. The ideal candidate brings a strong grasp of MRP logic and BOM structures, excels at data-driven scheduling, and thrives in high-accountability environments where catching a constraint early makes all the difference. This is a Full-Time position.
