We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Quality Engineer 1.

• →Assists developing, applying and maintaining quality requirements
• →Collects data and performs statistical analysis of processes for application in continuous improvement efforts
• →Provides special testing, process capability studies, repeatability studies
• →Assists with the preparation of instructions and procedures for use in inspecting products for mechanical and aesthetic criteria, and for use in training
• →Assists new product introduction, process readiness and training
• →Partners with cross functional teams to initiate product improvements
• →Assists with continuous improvement activities.
• →Recommends process and/or design improvements including: developing and maintaining new failure analysis methods, corrective actions suggestions, material and component analysis and suggestions of change
• →Assists as directed in meeting department goals and objectives as established by the Quality department Manager or director
• →Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• →Other duties as assigned

Skills, Education and Training

• →Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
• →1 or more years of demonstrated success in an electronics quality position;
• →Proficient English abilities required
• →Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge
• →Excellent knowledge of tools and methods related to inspection and analysis (prefer computer environment)
• →Proven experience in successful problem solving
• →Excellent time-management skills
• →Preferred certifications: Certified six sigma green belt, CQE
• →Preferred training and certifications: IPC-610, IPC7711/7721
