Junior Electrical Design Engineer

The Junior Electrical Design Engineer supports the senior electrical engineering team in reviewing EPC contractor electrical designs, performing engineering calculations, preparing technical documentation, and providing general engineering assistance across the solar PV and BESS program.

• →Assist in the review of EPC contractor electrical drawings, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
• →Perform electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop, short circuit checks, and load flow assessments.
• →Prepare technical review comment sheets and transmittals for distribution to EPC contractors.
• →Maintain the electrical engineering submittal register and track response deadlines.
• →Support the Senior Electrical Design Engineer in preparing technical reports and design review documents.
• →Research relevant codes and standards applicable to the project electrical scope.
• →Assist in the preparation of RFI responses for the onsite team.
• →Participate in internal engineering review meetings and record action items.
• →Support the production of Owner's Engineer technical deliverables as directed.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of electrical engineering design experience.
• Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and power engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical design software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
