CDL Class A OTR Driver

The CDL Class A Over the Road (OTR) Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, typically across state lines. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service while delivering freight efficiently and on time.

• Quarterly Safety Incentive Bonuses up to $300!
• $25 Per diem Layover pay
• Expected 2,000-3,000 miles per week. 
• Morning Start (6am-9am) Monday to Friday, Home on weekends!

• →Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• →Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• →Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• →Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• →Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• →Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• →Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
• →Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Requires a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) and appropriate endorsements.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card and maintain a complete US DOT driver qualification file.
• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Minimum of 1 year of OTR driving experience.
• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Possess specialized skills for managing hazardous materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Travel across various states.
• Flexible shifts with the capability to undertake overnight trips up to 4 times a week.
• Comfortable sitting and driving for extended periods.
• Various weather conditions.
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 85 lbs., if necessary.
