Non-CDL Truck Driver, Buford Mills, GA

We are currently hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver (also known as Box Truck Driver, Local Delivery Driver, or Straight Truck Driver) to drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.

• Position: Non-CDL Truck Driver
• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UPTO 75 LBS.
• 1st Shift: 5:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
• 1 night a week overnight, per diem and hotel paid on company card
• Pay: starting at $24.12
• Hours: 40-50 hours per week
• Overtime: 0-10 hours per week
• Pay Schedule: Weekly paycheck (every Thursday)

• →Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• →Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• →Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• →Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• →Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• →Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• →Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• →Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete a company driving training program
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
