  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 + super

The role is responsible for leading capital transactions and development partnerships that underpin the delivery of Bradfield City. You’ll work closely with project teams to drive land release strategies, structure commercial deals, and facilitate investment outcomes that are financially and commercially viable and aligned to broader objectives. At its core, the role brings together commercial insight, capital transactions and partnership delivery to unlock investment and progress major city shaping projects.

Day to day, you’ll lead and manage complex capital transactions and development partnerships, while providing clear commercial advice to support key project decisions. You’ll build and maintain financial models and feasibility assessments to inform strategy, while working closely with project teams and stakeholders to keep delivery on track. At the same time, you’ll balance competing priorities, manage risk and governance requirements, and take a practical, solutions-focused approach to delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in  delivering  complex capital transactions, development partnerships in a commercial environment
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to apply financial modelling, feasibility analysis and market insights to inform development and investment decisions
  • Proven ability to work across the full development lifecycle, providing commercial advice on deal structuring, timing, risk and delivery strategy
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to drive collaborative, transparent outcomes
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver results within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality expectations
  • High level of autonomy and accountability, with confidence making decisions and driving outcomes with minimal oversight
  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to translate complex commercial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong planning and prioritisation capability, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, balancing innovation with compliance to organisational policies and procedures
